Customer After Care Plan
A project is complete when the construction is finished, however a completed project is not yet a successful project. A project becomes successful after the completion of a transition period.
The transition period begins when the construction is complete, and extends for a period of time as defined in the contract documents. The transition period should begin with a post-construction meeting between your Ultrascape contractor, you, your landscape maintenance contractor, and your swimming pool maintenance contractor. This meeting transfers responsibility for operating and maintaining the project from the contractor to the owner.
The meeting will cover:
- Identification of the locations of all shut off valves, irrigation automatic valves, irrigation controllers, lighting system controllers, swimming pool controls, and water feature pumps and filters
- Explanation of equipment operation
- Transfer of owner’s manuals and warranty cards
- Questions from your maintenance contractors
- Maintenance information for irrigation, water features, trees, shrubs, and turf
- Explanation of the care plan for your pool and landscape
- Scheduling of transition plan visits at pre-determined intervals to assure plant health and the function of your irrigation system, and to answer any of your questions
- Explanation of start and end dates for the care plan
- Explanation of the procedures for scheduling and completing corrective or warranty work.
The scheduled transition care plan visits provide a convenient fixed timeframe for your Ultrascape contractor to complete corrective or warranty work.
